Rule No 2: How To Find The Best High Traffic Keywords

2) Find the best keyword phrases you can use and use one of them for the title of your blog where you’ll write lots of useful content about this subject that you know very well.

Most folks fail in their online business because they usually start thinking about traffic when they’ve already set up their blog. By then it is too late.

The advantage with this program is that we start thinking of traffic right from the idea stage. The ideas suggested in stage one of this special report are all carefully crafted and selected with traffic in mind. If you don’t generate huge traffic to your site, what are the chances that you’ll succeed in your affiliate program? Nil or zilch, actually. That is the reason why I address traffic very seriously and thoroughly throughout this program.

At this stage you already have your blog idea. Now you need to know all the important keyword phrases that will get traffic to your blog.

Use this tool to find your high traffic keyword phrase

Start by entering the name of your favorite TV show is that is the topic you selected. If you selected a car topic then type in a phrase that most closely describes the topic of your blog (this is very important and I will tell you why in a moment). When you hit the enter key or click on the arrow next to the space where you have entered your phrase, one of two things will happen.

i) You will get a list of various variations of your keyword phrase and how many people searched using the term in the previous month.

ii) You will get the answer that there are no suggested keywords meaning that it is hardly used at all by folks at search engines to search for information that could lead them to your blog.

If you get option number two and there are no results, then what you must do is try again using another phrase closely related to the subject of your blog.

Looking down at the list of the results, next to it will be a figure which is the actual number of people who searched for that keyword phrase the previous month. The higher up the list, the more competitive the keyword phrase used. This means that there are lots of web sites and blogs that are bound to have optimized their sites for that keyword. In other words used the phrase a lot on their sites so as to attract traffic from search engines. Go lower down the list and select a phrase. Go the www.blogger.com and try to register a blog using that phrase. Be careful to write it using dashes. For instance if it the key word phrase that you’ve chosen is “blog success” then the address you write should look something like this;

http://blog-success.blogspot.com

You may find that most of the phrases you try will give you the answer that that particular address is not available. Meaning that it has been taken up already. Try another phrase as you go down your list. Even if just 20 or so people searched for it, use it. Chances will be much higher that you will attract free traffic using that keyword phrase. And remember that this tool applies only to those who searched using www.yahoo.com. There are others who are bound to have used the same phrase with Google and MSN.

Keep all the keyword phrases in a word document somewhere on your computer where you can find them easily. You will use them in your posts as an extra way of attracting search engine traffic.

Your blog has now been set up. Congratulations. Post your first article/content at the site.
